Small Craft Working Group (Scotland) Training

The IIMS Small Craft Working Group (Scotland) is set to meet on 17 and 18 November 2014 at Silvers Marine (Gareloch Support Services Ltd), Silverhills, Rosneath, Helensburgh, G84 0RW for a two day training session.

The provisional programme for this two day meeting is as follows:

09.30 Welcome by Tom Elder, SCWG (Scotland) Chairman
09.45 Small Craft Group Meeting
10.30-11.00 Coffee break
11.00- 12.30 Certifying Authority update and What should be in a Survey report
12.30-13.30 Lunch
13.30 Yard walk-through and inspection on selected vessels undergoing work
15.30 – 1545 Coffee break
15.45 Discussion on boats from yard walk-through
17.00 Q & A’s
19.00 for 19.30 Dinner (venue to be confirmed)

Cost is £75 including lunch and tea/coffee for the two days of £50 for one day.

5 CPD points are awarded for attendance.

As some of the sessions are practical, participants may wish to bring along a torch and suitable outdoor clothing.
