Sirena Yachts chose the 2018 Miami Yacht Show to unveil further details of its 26-metre (85.3-foot) flagship Sirena 85, which marks its entrance into the superyacht sector. The Sierna 85 is Sirena Yachts’ flagship, marking its entrance to the superyacht market.
With construction already underway at the Turkish shipyard, she features exterior design by Frers Naval Architecture & Engineering, and interiors by Cor D Rover.
According to the yard, her lines are the evolution of the sleek styling that it has come to be known for, with a glass-fibre hull and carbon-fibre superstructure guaranteeing lightweight durability.
German Frers, naval architect and head of exterior design and engineering, said, “The new larger member of the fleet represents a continuation of the design and building programme. The hull characteristics and design are an evolution of her smaller sister: Low resistance and sea-kindly hull that performs efficiently and with a minimum of fuel consumption through all speed ranges.
“Interior volumes are considerable and incorporate a full-width master suite on the upper deck equipped with a balcony opening over the sea… The fully equipped bridge is independent and separated from the rest of the interior accommodations, with direct access to a double helm on the ample flybridge.”
Her flybridge is almost completely protected by a retractable hardtop, where there is a helm position, fully retractable bar and galley, table for up to 10 guests and spacious relaxation area astern with settees that convert into a sunbathing platform.
The main deck features a spacious salon with C-shaped sofa and dining table for ten set next to a well-equipped galley with direct access from the dinette or exterior walkway. Full-size sliding glass windows on both sides let in fresh air and natural light.
The lower deck houses the accommodation, with four VIP cabins, one of which is full-beam. Crew quarters are set completely separately from the guest area, comprised of two twin cabins, one bathroom and direct access to the engine room. There is also a tender garage astern that can be transformed into a beach club.
Frers added, “The maximum speed will be in the order of 26 knots, depending on the final power plant selected from among the options offered. In spite of her long overall dimensions, she qualifies under 24 meters LOA. Cruising range will be more than 2,500 miles at 10 knots.”
