The Singapore Yacht Show takes place from 23-26 April, with an incredible line-up of the most luxurious superyachts, boats, international lifestyle brands and superyacht industry leaders.
Organisers have just announced that the 69-metre Australian-built M/Y Saluzi, the largest permanently based yacht available for charter in Asia, will be on display at the Show. Recently refitted, the former luxury cruise ship, is the product of remarkable engineering and vision, designed to offer a truly unique floating vacation home for exploring Asian waters.
Named after the mystical warhorse of Tang Dynasty Emperor Taizong that, according to legend, despite being wounded in battle by an arrow amidst fierce fighting, the valiant super-powered horse unflinchingly delivered the Emperor back to safety. The artwork of ? the horse on the exterior of the yacht has been specially created by the artist, Li Jiwei as a modern interpretation of the ancient tale and in his own words Saluzi is “an expression of both East and West, a blending of spirituality and materiality.”
She will be represented for charter at the Show by Yachtzoo, and tours of the yacht during the Show can be arranged by contacting the brokerage company.
“The Yachtzoo team is delighted to return to the Singapore Yacht Show after a successful first participation last year. This year we will present the 69m M/Y Saluzi for charter as we also believe in the future of South East Asia and the Indian Ocean as new and attractive destinations,” said Kirsten Ringsing, Founding Partner of Yachtzoo Monaco.
Inspired by the notion of an uber-chic floating beach house, Saluzi is a truly modern sanctuary for family and friends that combines both the space and privacy essential for creating a relaxed atmosphere in which to recharge and reclaim time.
Organisers of the Singapore Yacht Show have also confirmed that 75.5m (248ft) M/Y Anastasia will be on display, presented for sale and charter. Built by world-renowned shipyard Oceanco, she has won a number of prestigious awards including the World Yacht Trophy for Best of the Best Custom Motor Yacht over 40m and the Robb Report Best of the Best Custom Motor Yacht of the Year.
With a generous beam and four decks, her interior space provides luxurious accommodation for up to 12 guests including a two-level owner’s suite with office and private balcony, two double VIP suites and three double guest cabins. The interior and exterior design from Australia-based Sam Sorgiovanni is the epitome of contemporary classic, with neutral tones and layered textures complemented by warm light and dark woods.
This world-class superyacht was created with luxury and entertainment in mind, which makes her a popular choice with charter guests. For those who prefer to enjoy the comfort of indoors, there are activities aplenty including a private cinema, massage room, card room and main salon that converts into a nightclub with state-of- the-art sound system, lasers and lights.
The Asia Pacific Yachting Conference precedes the Singapore Yacht Show and takes place on 21-22 April 2015
Since inception in 2009, the Asia Pacific Yachting Conference (APYC) has developed into the only regional industry platform for leisure marine professionals from the Asia Pacific region and beyond. Its annual programmes comprise current and strategic issues discussed by a forum of forward-thinking business leaders of the global yachting sector and provides delegates with the knowledge to ensure they capitalise on the developing markets in Asia and overall regional growth.
In 2015, the APYC is themed “Towards World Class” and will be co-chaired by Martin Redmayne of The Superyacht Group and Tim Coventry, Special Advisor to the Gyeonggi Provincial Governement, Korea. Conference delegates will hear from industry and business leaders who will share their journeys to achieving world-class performance in their respective fields. In addition, subject experts and industry professionals from around the world will present best practices and case studies which provide further insight to doing business in this dynamic environment.
