The Poole Harbour Boat Show makes it debut on 9-10 May and looks forward to welcoming a number of marine companies demonstrating exciting new products at this iconic Dorset location.

Boats and marine equipment will be displayed along Poole Quay and at Poole Harbour Commissioners Marina and Poole Quay Boat Haven. Already several big names in the boat market have been confirmed as exhibitors.

Visitors to the Poole Harbour Boat Show, which is a free public event will be able to see Sunseeker, Fairline, Stingher Ribs, Sealine, Bayliner and Windy. Together with Spinnaker Yachts, Quicksilver and Cobalt, a number of other marine companies will also be showcasing new products and innovations on Poole Quay and at Poole Harbour Commissioners’ (PHC) award-winning marina, Poole Quay Boat Haven.

Further interest will be provided thanks to the presence of tall ships – TS Pelican, a three-masted sail training vessel, and two-masted brig Stavros S Niarchos will be tied up alongside the quay and open to the public. In addition there will be on the water activities courtesy of yacht clubs, with the RNLI also playing a key role across the weekend.

The Poole Harbour Boat Show will also feature a range of family entertainments and a spectacular fireworks display.

Jim Stewart, chief executive, PHC said: “From marine insurers, to local chandleries and boat manufacturers, the show looks to provide a host of different exhibitors, and put Poole on the regional maritime calendar, building year on year with the successes of the harbour and its marine operators.”
