IIMS Conference, Baltimore Maryland, 3/4 February 2017 announced

IIMS US Regional Director, James Randy Renn, has finalised plans for the Institute’s annual American marine surveying Conference, which will take place on 3rd and 4th February 2017 from 08.30 to 16.30 daily.

The extensive two day programme covers a wide range of topics and subjects that will appeal to surveyors from all sectors of the industry. For the first time, delegates are able to join the Conference remotely too by video conferencing as well as being present face to face. See below for details.

The venue is MITAGS: Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies, which is handily placed for the airport at Baltimore.

For delegates who are not able to attend in person, it is possible to take the event live by Zoom video conferencing link direct to your smart phone, tablet, PC or laptop. The cost to attend by video Conferencing is $125 per day; just indicate your preference when booking, arrange to make payment as above and we will send joining instructions in good time.

There is a good hotel on the campus at a reduced rate for attendees, which includes three meals. The restaurant is reasonable and much like an Officers Mess.

The Conference site is just minutes from BWI Airport and there are many hotel and entertainment choices in the area and in Baltimore.
