The details and agenda for the IIMS Certifying Authority Training Day Spring 2016 have been announced.

The IIMS Certifying Authority Training Day Spring 2016 is open to both IIMS CA coding surveyors as well as other members and non members of the IIMS.
The agenda for the day is as follows:
1. Introduction and welcome
2. New forms
The IIMS CA has produced new forms for Small Commercial Vessels (SCV2) and Workboats (WB2). These have a very different layout than before. More issues are covered by Yes/No/Not Applicable box filling. Forms should be quicker to complete and reduce the number of scrutineering questions. The meeting will work through the following forms (see below) and discuss issues arising:
New SCV2 Form Detailed Review
Revised Heel Test Form Detailed Review
New RIB Stability Test Form Detailed Review
New WB2 Form Brief look at Additional Sections
New SCV / WB2 for RIBs Brief Comparison with standard SCV2
3. ISO standards
The SCV codes refer to many ISO Standards. Numerous ISO Standards are referred to in the Codes. IIMS now holds most of these. The meeting will look at when these are applicable, or may be used in lieu of normal Code requirements and what evidence of ISO compliance is required.
4. MLC 2006
