Wednesday 15 November
A day of heel test and stability training (both practical and theory) under the tutelage and guidance of IIMS Certifying Authority Chairman, Fraser Noble.
09.30 Heel test (practical). Marina/boatyard location is to be confirmed but expected to be close to Rhu.
12.45 Lunch at the Royal Northern & Clyde Yacht Club.
13.45 Heel test (theory) presented at the Club.
18.30 Evening meal at Annaya Restaurant (at own expense and subject to demand).
Thursday 16 November

10:00-11:00 – 75 years of marine surveying by Ian Nicolson (Part I).
11:00-11:15 – Coffee Break
11:15 – 12:15 – 75 years of marine surveying by Ian Nicolson (Part II).
12:15-13:00 – Insurance update by Karen Brain, Matrix Insurance (pre-recorded).
13:00-13:45 – Lunch
13:45-14:30 – An overview of the safety culture and challenges in the Scottish Aquaculture sector by Kerrie Forester, CEO, Workboat Association.
14:30-15:15 – Presentation to be confirmed.
15:15-16:00 – Frightening reality about AI Artificial Intelligence (and how it will impact surveyors) by Mike Schwarz.
