Your presenter is Jon Sharland, a friend of IIMS, who has spoken at various surveyor conferences and events. He has been specialising in Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges for over 20 years. Before that he was involved in inspections and measurements using lasers and microscopes. Jon has a background in aircraft engineering obtained whilst serving in the Royal Navy.
In this presentation, Jon will explain how the technology works for both steel and GRP surfaces and will introduce delegates to the various products.
