The annual spring training event for IIMS Certifying Authority examiners, (but open to any surveyor interested in coding work), will take place on Monday 13 May at Trafalgar Wharf with registration from 09.00.

There is free parking at Trafalgar Wharf, but as the gate in camera monitored, you must notify IIMS in advance so that your registration plate will be recognised and entry permitted. Hi-vis jackets will be supplied.

This year the Certifying Authority training has a different emphasis on it, partly due to the continuing changes being made to the codes. We have two sub 24 metre vessels at our disposal in the yard (probably in the water to be confirmed) and the aim is to code both vessels as best as we can working in groups and to complete two mocks SCV2 forms.

Once the exercise is completed by mid afternoon, the group will head across the road to the IIMS office to discuss the codings and documentation in more detail.

The cost of the day’s training is £120 and includes lunch.

Please reserve and confirm your place using the form below. If you prefer not to use an online payment system, please call the IIMS office on +44 23 9238 5223 and pay by card.
