IIMS is delighted to offer a special one-day seminar entitled ‘An introduction to marine surveying’. The event is being held in Palma, Mallorca, and face-to-face attendance is encouraged, although the event is also being broadcast live via Zoom for more distant delegates. The cost is just 25 euros (£21 GBP) for the day (lunch is at own cost).

Who should attend?
The day will appeal to a variety of people:
– Those who are considering marine surveying as a career choice and want to know more.
– Those just embarking on a career in the marine surveying profession.
– Those surveyors who have been doing the job for a short while, and who want validation that they are on the right track.
– Local boat brokers who want to know more about the profession.
– Marine underwriters and insurers.
– Others who touch the surveying profession, or who have a vested interest.

Your hosts for the day are John Walker and Tim Rowe, both highly experienced Palma-based marine surveyors and Mike Schwarz, who has been Chief Executive Officer at IIMS for more than a decade. They have a mountain of knowledge and experience to share with delegates on the day.
