Tim Bannister is a Technical Support Specialist with AkzoNobel. He has spoken at IIMS events before and delegates have been impressed with his breadth of knowledge on the subject of coatings in general. Tim was the very first candidate to qualify as a Registered Marine Coatings Inspector when the international qualification started in 2014.
Tim is something of a paint and coatings specialist and brought all his knowledge into this presentation. The aim of Tim’s presentation was to give general surveyors more knowledge in the area specifically of paint coatings for yachts by explaining both the theory and process and giving some practical tips on the most common paint faults to look for.
