SCWG Meeting

This will be at Brightlingsea Essex at the Pioneer Trust Boatyard. July 27th at 10 am. See http://www.pioneersailingtrust.org.uk/. The Trust has just set up a school for shipwrights.
The day will be a visit to the workshop conducted by Brian Kennell and Colin White who were responsible for the re-build of the Pioneer and other wooden classics. They will explain the current renovation projects, a Smack yacht and a Hydrofoil to mention two.
The other subjects covered will be Gas and Boat safety with practical visits to boats in the yard. Pi Insurance and how not to get a claim and a short talk on propellers and their development plus a small craft meeting - a full day.
Lunch at an award winning Fish and Chip Shop .
Places will be limited so please book early.
Plenty of B& B accommodation and close to Stanstead Airport....
